Wedding Prospecting Idea for your Urban Botanic business

So for those of you that have not made use of Vista Print.com yet it's an amazing site. Not only do they handle postcards, invites, business cards, brochures, etc.; they give you free items all the time to give them a shot and pay for shipping only. This is my latest attempt to actually go after the Wedding Boutique Market. I've mailed these out now and will keep you informed on how this works out...

Basically this endeavour of 10 cards was around $4.00 + stamps to mail out. I chose boutiques in different areas that might be interesteed in adding this service for their clients or having an after hours workshop. I added my business card and mailed. I'm hoping for 1 or 2 to be interested. This should be a slower time of year for brides so I'm thinking they will be able to respond and we can gear up for May/June. I'll keep everyone informed. Feel free to leverage in your areas.

Before I joined UB, Vista ran a huge sale that I took advantage of for personal stuff--I got 50 business card magnets, 100 small(normal-sized) postcards, 1 self-inking rubber stamp, 1 pack of personalized post-its, and 1 personalized notepad for $25 dollars. And it was only $25 because I uploaded my own artwork at a $5 fee per piece(and the shipping).

Keep an eye out for these sales, they run them all the time! I should be receiving my order sometime this week, so I will let you know how the quality on everything looks.
